Maruti’s Alto, The Best Selling car of India for last 9
years, once again proved itself by beating all other hatchbacks to come out as
the best selling small car in the world for 2014.
According to Hindustan Times Report The Maruti Alto from
India beat the VW Golf (Germany) and the Daihatsu Tanto (Japan).
Three of the top 10 selling models in the world are from
Maruti and it shows that how people are still in love with Maruti cars.
There is no doubt that Maruti Alto is going to hold the
leadership strongly because, the refurbished Maruti Alto K10 was launched in November
2014 and it comes with the AMT variant which is an in demand technology.
The new changed Alto K10 will definitely be going to keep
the Alto Name on the growth path this year and prove itself beneficial to
customers as well as to Maruti.
As mentioned before the 3 of the top 10 best selling
hatchbacks in the world for last year were from Maruti. Swift, Alto and WagonR
are these 3 cars; these three cars are also called as bread winners for Maruti.
Maruti Alto Reported a total sales about 264,544 units in
2014 which is more than any other hatchback in the world and thus, it kept the
crown of being the best selling small car.
