Maruti Celerio diesel, ZXi AMT lined up for launch

The AMT system on the Celerio has proven to be a hit with buyers as it brings Automatic Transmission at a lower price.

Celerio is available with the AMT only in the base LXi and VXi trims, Maruti aims to address this with a new range-topping ZXi AMT variant.
Maruti is having big plans with the Celerio which is currently available only with petrol engine.
The LXi and VXi trims are the new variants that will roll out on the small car in upcoming weeks.
Production of the ZXi AMT has already started, and a launch is expected this month. This variant will also be equipped with a 2-DIN music system with steering mounted controls.

Production of the Celerio diesel is underway at Maruti’s Manesar plant, which is reported to be powered by a Suzuki-developed 0.8-liter two-cylinder diesel engine, the Celerio diesel is expected to set the benchmark for fuel efficiency.

Considering these things Celerio will definitely set a new benchmark for Maruti in all ways.
