7 Seater Wagon R MPV may launch in 2016

Welcome to Seva  Automotive’s blog,

According to reports published on the automobile websites Maruti Suzuki will launch the Maruti WagonR which is codenamed as YJC in the September of 2016. As per the sources said, that the company has already asked its vendors to supply parts for the vehicle, and is expected to begin the testing soon.

Maruti is reportedly targeting the annual sales of 80,000 units for the 7 seater
Wagon R.  This Car will be equipped with the petrol and diesel engines.

The petrol variant of the Wagon R may get either  the 1.0 liter three cylinder K-series engine or the 1.2 liter K-series engine.

The diesel variant will use the 0.8 liter twin cylinder  DDiS 125 engine, which is currently installed in the Celerio.

In the year 2013 suzuki showcased the concept Wagon R in the Indonesia International Motor Show with three row seating layout and 7 seat capacity.

However the concept wagon R that displayed and the actual product may differ from each other comparing the exterior.  One more thing we must mention here is that the YJC is under the 4 meter length Car and will surely beat the rivals.

Along with the private customers, the YJC (Wagon R 7 seater) could also target the fleet market,as 7 seat capacity will be beneficial for the fleet market.

Let’s see what comes with the new Wagon R in next year. For regular updates and news as well as tips stay with us, and don’t forget to like our facebook page www.facebook.com/sevamaruti.
